Research Interests

I am a master student in the resilience and transformation center of China and State Key Laboratory of Lake Science and Environment supervised by Prof. Xiangdong Yang and Dr. Rong Wang. My broad academic interests are in ecosystem ecology and aquatic transitions. My master thesis title is “Regime shifts revealed by paleoecological records in Taibai Lake’s ecosystem over the last century”. The objective of my current research is to study decadal ecosystem regime shifts and structural changes in shallow lakes by comparing diatom assemblage shifts with statistical methods. I have completed my thesis and is fully expected to graduate in June 2017.
